We are waiting for the radio to crackle and call "Jack Sparrow, Jack Sparrow." Captain Jerry radioed in an order "to go" of lobster and ribs. Dinner on the boat sounded delightful to all of us because we were sure as soon as we would step out and into the dink, the sky would open up and pour down rain. The dink captains are on stand by.
I made friends with some of the local sandpipers. I had a flock of them on the boat and they were eating out of my hand. I was told to quit feeding them because they would poop on the deck. Is that why sailors call it "poop deck?" Regardless, the rain washed the poop away. The kids tried to get the iPod docking station to work tonight, seems they believed my story that I used to work at JBL Electronics. The silence has been delightful - Wink Wink.
